Purchasing and Operations Manager

Job Description:

The Purchasing and Operations Manager is a dynamic role combining client relationship management, business development, purchasing of secondary raw materials, and coordination of operational processes.

The position involves negotiations, market analysis, raw material evaluation, logistics organization, and daily operational control. This is a responsible role requiring independence, decision-making skills, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

Location: Tanzania
Working with catalysts, electronic scrap, and non-ferrous metals.

• Client Management and Business Development: Managing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients, identifying and acquiring new clients, partners, and suppliers, conducting negotiations and preparing commercial offers, monitoring market trends and making pricing decisions.
• Purchasing Process Coordination: organizing the receipt, evaluation, and purchasing of raw materials, controlling quality and quantities, administering documentation and data in internal systems,  ensuring purchasing processes comply with company standards.
• Logistics and Operations: organizing logistics and coordinating export processes, overseeing warehouse operations (receiving, storage, movement), managing inventory and stock control, ensuring smooth daily operational performance.
