We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and results-driven Purchasing Manager (Buyer) to join team in Stockholm. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing electronic waste, computer equipment, electronic components, and other electronic raw materials across the Swedish market.
This is a dynamic, hands-on position for someone who enjoys building business relationships, negotiating deals, and taking initiative. The role combines supplier development and purchasing activities with practical responsibilities – from negotiating agreements to collecting, loading, and transporting purchased materials.
Your Key Responsibilities
Actively identify and approach new suppliers and business partners across Sweden, expanding our electronic materials sourcing network.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
Negotiate competitive purchasing prices, quantities, and commercial terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Monitor market trends, analyze price developments, and identify new purchasing opportunities.
Manage the purchasing process from start to finish, including visiting suppliers, inspecting materials, arranging their loading, and transporting purchased materials.
Ensure smooth and efficient purchasing operations through close cooperation with suppliers and internal teams.
Independently plan and organize daily activities while working towards agreed purchasing and business development targets.
Important: This is a hands-on role that also involves physical work. You will be expected to load, move, and transport purchased electronic materials when required. We are therefore looking for someone who is comfortable combining commercial responsibilities with practical, physically active tasks.
Requirements
Strong Swedish language skills – the ability to communicate confidently with suppliers and conduct business negotiations in Swedish is essential.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
A proactive mindset, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify new business opportunities independently.
A responsible, well-organized, and results-oriented approach to work.
Willingness to take on an active role involving supplier visits, material handling, loading, and transportation.
Ability to manage your own schedule, make decisions independently, and solve day-to-day challenges efficiently.
A valid Category B driving licence.
It would be an advantage if you have previous experience in purchasing, B2B sales, business development, electronics, recycling, or the secondary raw materials industry. Knowledge of the Swedish market and experience working with local businesses would also be highly valued.
