We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and confident Purchasing Manager (Buyer) to join our team in Denmark and take responsibility for purchasing catalytic converters, electronic scrap, and other electronic materials.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move, meeting people, negotiating deals, and working independently. You will not only identify suppliers and negotiate purchasing terms but also visit suppliers, collect, load, and transport purchased materials yourself.
This position combines commercial responsibilities with hands-on physical work, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable managing business relationships while also taking care of practical, physically demanding tasks.
Your Key Responsibilities
Actively identify new suppliers and purchasing opportunities across Denmark.
Purchase catalytic converters, electronic scrap, computer equipment, and electronic components.
Communicate with suppliers and negotiate prices and purchasing terms.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with business partners.
Visit suppliers, inspect purchased materials, personally collect, load, and transport them to the designated location.
Independently organize daily activities and work towards agreed purchasing targets.
Requirements
Good Danish language skills – the ability to communicate confidently and negotiate in Danish is essential.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
A proactive, independent, and results-oriented approach.
Commercial awareness and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
Physical fitness and willingness to perform hands-on tasks, including lifting, loading, handling, and transporting purchased materials.
A valid Category B driving licence.
Previous experience in purchasing, B2B sales, catalytic converters, electronics, or the recycling and secondary raw materials industry would be an advantage.
The company offers
€3,000–€4,200 net per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
